SaaS is Software as a Service.  This is like renting software on the internet instead of buying it outright.  No need to download anything, update anything or even worry about where the data is stored– we handle it all for you.

Of course!  Laminar Sync will import contacts from a CSV file.

Yes there is an app for Laminar Sync for day-to-day, on the go use. It’s available for iOS and Android.

Use the app for notifications, conversations, contact management, invoicing, point of sale (have your customers tap to pay), appointments, opportunities, making and receiving calls, handling reviews and more.  

Our customers find they spend most of their time using the app once the initial setup is done through our website.

No.  As part of the initial setup you will associate Laminar Sync with your Name Server (the server that controls your domain) allowing your emails and other communications to come from you.

Like most things in life there’s an app for that– a WordPress plugin to be exact.  Simple add the plugin to your current site, let it run, and then update your DNS to point to our servers.  DNS is often times hosted by GoDaddy or Cloudflare.

For an additional fee Laminar Sync will recreate your entire site on the WordPress platform. Please allow us to quote you for this service as this will be done by hand to ensure an exact match of your current site.

 

WordPress is a Content Management Platform that provides many benefits including ease of use, customization, a straight forward interface, a vast ecosystems of themes and plugins and a large community.  It’s estimated that 43% of all websites run on WordPress.

WordPress is built for all of us– it’s flexible, reliable and works. In fact this very website is on WordPress.

Your don’t need to be a Web Developer/Designer to use WordPress.

You own everything- you are not stuck or locked into a platform’s roles or pricing changes.

WordPress grows and evolves with you-  Want to add a blog?  Sell Items? Add a gallery? WordPress can scale with plugins and features-no rebuild necessary.

WordPress is secure and supported with regular updates- updates are easy to apply as they are released so there are no excuses not to.

Laminar Sync works great with one location or multiple locations.  Each location can have its own subscription and database,  with authorized users being able to work within multiple locations. 

For instance, local staff at location A can work with their customers while local staff at location B work with theirs.  The owner would have access to both locations.

Laminar Sync is intuitive and straight forward.  We have a twenty minute setup routine to get your system up and running.  Once that’s complete your system is yours.  Most users enjoy building their system to their specifications on their own (like building in Minecraft!) but we do offer implementation services if you’d like for an additional fee.

Yes!  All of your conversations, Email, SMS (Text Messaging), WhatsApp, Socials– All in one place!

Laminar Sync’s product systems and data are hosted by cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform Services for redundancy and security.

All data is encrypted in transit with TLS version 1.2, or 1.3 and 2,048 bit keys or better. Transport layer security (TLS) is also a default for customers who host their websites on the Laminar Sync platform.

Our vendor leverages several technologies to ensure stored data is encrypted at rest. Platform data is stored using AES-256 encryption. User passwords are hashed following industry best practices, and are encrypted at rest.

Yes.  Laminar Sync is designed to support your marketing, services, sales, operations and content management processes.  You may not collect or store sensitive information such as debit or credit card numbers, financial account information, passport numbers, social security numbers, health information or financial information.

Laminar Sync offers HIPPA compliance for an additional monthly fee.

By default, accounts are not HIPPA compliant.  If you need HIPPA compliance please contact us using the Contact Us form and we will provide further information including additional steps and costs involved.
